A major milestone for Singapore and Asia. This is the first and only highway capable electric car in the region.

Carried a 2002 California registration plate "MAGIC EV", this electric car is capable of 220 kilometers (130 miles) per charge and have a top speed of 140 kilometers per hour (85 miles per hour). 100% runs on electricity and produces no exhaust (zero emissions). It will be in Asia for a short marketing campaign before returning to Los Angeles. Watch out for us.

AMPLE launches a new blog (www.amplemotion.net) detailing its startup journey. We hope to inspire entrepreneurship for more jobs and business creations.

Registered with California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), "MAGIC EV" has been driven on the United States highways since 2002. Similarly, same model electric car driven by delighted consumer has mileage in assess of 161,000 kilometers (100,000 miles) with the original factory battery and still clocks 220 kilometers (130 miles) per charge as recent as September 2008. This tested and proven track record demonstrated the practicality, robustness, public safety and feasibility of electric vehicle technology.

Today, estimated only 300 units of this model are still being driven by general public in California. And, estimated 820 units only remaining in the United States and probably the world (source: Sherry Boschert). 1 unit is now in Asia. At peak, there were 1,485 units on the road.
